I thought it was just me, as I couldn't reproduce - not that I tried very hard.

IMO - Show cover thumbnail and Single click edits cell (when row is already selected) check boxes should be swapped

Reminder - current cell differentiation as in standard book list.

The solution to the column too short header issue is to leave the columns the width they are supposed to be. The only column I'd need to adjust is the title column. All the others should be exactly as I set it.

Why do we need to adjust the font weight? I've never had a problem with the font weight in calibre. As to the font family, we can already change that in the calibre's preferences so why duplicate it? Whatever the font I'm using normally is the font I would use when using the plug-in.

Would you be so kind as to remove these features we don't actually need?

Fainter? If that is the case, wouldn't that be an issue with the plugin and that should be fixed instead of a font weight feature?

IMHO, all you need to do is fix the font weight bug and remove the font weight and font family features,

I believe the fainter issue was introduced after allowing zooming to scale text; scaling text via Ctrl + mouse wheel is a very useful feature IMO so my choice was to add the weight option.

Noted... I can't remember what it looked like on previous versions, but I believe this can happen when a specific set of options is in place. Not sure, though. Will look into it.

I'll have to try zooming when I am at my laptop to see if you are correct. But even if you are correct and there should be a font weight option, there is no need for a font family option as that's built into calibre.

This is 2026. 32G Ram is pretty common, And I just saw Western Digital has a 12T hard drive. This is not 1995 where 32M RAM and 100M was a hot system

32GB is no longer pretty common. 16GB is now common since RAM price have shot up. I was thinking of upgrading my main laptop to 32GB from 16GB but because of the high ram prices, I'm not doing so now.

I've installed the new version and I see no need for font weight or font family.

I don't see the font weight getting so light it needs to be upped when zooming in or out.

Font weight is broken. Normal and medium are the same and demibold is too much.

Prices
I had the SSD in this W10 desktop PC pop an E2 SMART error and I was going to replace it. $ have doubled since the last SSD's I upgraded my Laptop with.
I did add 16G RAM a year ago (was planned for another, slightly older PC, but they did not play together). So I have a Linux Mint PC with 32G

How come?

When they are shown, Grid and Shelf View inject the Sort button at left end of the Search bar (assuming it's not hidden), and when they are hidden, List View is restored and the Sort button goes away.

However, after installing BLP (which also in injects the Sort button), the Sort button 'persists' when Grid or Shelf View is shown and then hidden… i.e. it's suddenly there in the standard List view.

IMO: the best solution would be to nail the Sort [by] button to the Search bar in baseline calibre like the Virtual Library button - having it come and go unexpectedly is disconcerting. It would still be available to add to other toolbars and menus.

If Grid or Shelf View is shown when BLP is in play, when the Grid or Shelf View is hidden, the standard Book List view is restored, rather than the BLP view.
