For sure.

Good to know. I think if I got the Libra colour I would get the remote for sure.

Awesome, thanks! I had no idea these were a thing until I started watching reviews last week. I think I'll get one even for my current H2O, thanks! They don't need Bluetooth, correct?

Thanks! I am looking at the Boox Go Colour 7 as well. I wasn't at first because when I originally looked it was showing up at starting at $700! But I have found places that are almost half that so it's back on my list! How do you like it compared to a B&W reader that isn't Android based? Is the repose time slow or is it glitchy at all? I read they can be glitchy compared to a Kobo or Kindle.

I'm not yet completely settled in (there is much to fiddle with), but I haven't noticed glitches, and the built-in reader app is pretty solid. Not as polished as the Kobo now is, but good enough for a similar experience. And you can have any reader app you want - I have installed Pocketbook, Readest and Kindle, but not given them much use.

Just for reading, now I would probably advise myself to get the black b&w Boox Go 7 (not exactly the same as the white one), but I got the color version and also a pen on purpose. The price is reading on greyish recycled paper, and it's more noticeable during the day; I use the front light cranked up a bit above the midpoint, and at night it's closer to my Libra2 experience.

The Boox is lighter than the Libra, and the thin native Boox cover vs. the thick Fintie I bought for the Libra doubles that. Plus the Boox cover just slides out (it's held magnetically) instead of having to be stripped off. But if you hold your hand wrong with the thin featherweight Boox you still can get a twinge in your wrist (I just did just a few minutes ago )

That's great! Sounds good and I'm sure you can probably hurt yourself with almost anything, especially as we age! I just love the way my H2O curves in my hand, it feels so comfortable. I wasn't sure if I'd like a flat one.

Thanks for all the help!

I decided to wait because I thought in another year maybe colour e-readers would have improved, or maybe I'd wait until my H2O dies as it still works great besides a bit of a shorter battery and no Google drive. I also wanted to see and hold them and there's no others to see in person around here, so I thought maybe I could check them out when I go visit my dad in NY (I'm in rural Ontario). Oddly enough, this morning my son brought me his reader, my old Kobo, and we can't get it to charge. So while we were out in town we went to Chapters and Staples to see some. The reMarkable looks cool, but it's super expensive and slow from what I've read. Basically my only choice to have it now is Kobo and I've had them for years so I bought the Libra Colour. My son will get my H2O. I have 30 days to make sure I like it.

I have non-existent margins and it's still fine. It nips out a tiny corner and nothing's obscured that isn't obvious. A lot of articles, pronouns, conjugations of "to be" and so forth. On the very, very, very rare occasion I feel as if I'm missing something critical, I lift the doohickey. The reality is that most heavy readers read in chunks and they see what they don't see, so for me this is needlessly persnickety.

Ditto! The whole "the perfect is the enemy of the absolutely fine" conundrum.
