Calibre 9.6 - What's New Mistake
"Edit book: File list: Allow using Ctrl+Left/Right to move an item to top/bottom of the list"

I think that should be … using Ctrl+Shift+Left/Right to….

IMO: Because they are not configurable (not suggesting they should be) the Ctrl+Shift+↑, ↓, Home/←, and End/→ shortcuts should be discoverable.

Suggest a Move fly-out in the File Browser context menu.

First (Ctrl+Shift+Home/←)
Up (Ctrl+Shift+↑)
Down (Ctrl+Shift+↓)
Last (Ctrl+Shift+End/→)

Precedent - Rich text/Comments editor context menu has fixed shortcuts shown in its context menu.

I'm afraid another context menu for a relatively rare operation that has keyboard shortcuts and drag and drop is not justifiable.

The usual cmd instead of ctrl on a Mac.

Are these included in the edit-preferences-keyboard shortcuts list? Apologies if I missed them.
