Way to disable popup window after you remove a book?

Is there a way to disable the little popup window you get when you remove/delete a book?

That's there to give you a chance to undo your deletion. Personally, I think it's not there long enough to give us a change to click undo.

It slows me down when I am going through duplicate books one set by one set.

On Windows 10 it's non-modal - i.e. I can press keys whilst it's showing.

I agree with JSWolf, it's not there long enough too click Undo, not that I ever want to, I have the RU sure enabled.

I just want to know how to disable it. It serves no purpose when I run Duplicate Finder other than slowing things down before I can click to find the next set of duplicate titles.

There is no disable option

Which operating system are you using?

On Windows 10/11 Pro its presence does not stop you clicking in the find box, that's your perception, it is not reality.

No perception or OS issue. This is a new Calibre confirmation window. It now slows me down when using the Find Duplicates plug in as it pops up every time I delete the duplicate book.Instead of being able to immediately click to go to the next set of duplicates, I either have to wait for the window to close of click the little X. It wasn't in Calibre until very recently. I have use the program for over a decade.

As a suggestion, you could change the location of the duplicates icon either further towards the beginning or further towards the end of the toolbar.

Linux mint. Calibre 9.6
It does not slow me down 1 second. I ignore and move on to the next Dup. found.
BTW it times out in Linux after a few seconds

A - it's been there for about 3 years, version 6.?, I've not seen anyone complain about it until now.

B - I don't use the main toolbar so the Undo sits on the Find box, but it doesn't stop me typing there.

C: you could move the Find Duplicates, as @dunhill suggests, either within the Main toolbar or to another toolbar/menu, or access it via the All actions menu (default shortcut is Ctrl/F1) or give FD its own keyboard shortcut

D: you could request an Enhancement, see 4th para ==>> https://calibre-ebook.com/bugs

Aside - a better position for it would be on the Title Bar, but MacOS may prevent that.

Until it times out or you hit the x you can't click the Find Duplicates icon again. Moving the Find Duplicates on the toolbar would not change that.

No, this is new behavior when using the Find Duplicates plugin. The plugin author already told me this is a new Calibre controlled behavior. I have used the plugin for years without getting the popup window.

Yes, I will make my enhancement request.

I do have my Find duplicates on the Second Toolbar , but use again (immediately)?
How / what are you using Find Dups to do? (this might be a mode specific issue. I use find Books or Find Library: Show all at the same time)

I get a results list of Pairs of ALL dups of the type selected. I can delete or merge those from that list. It has worked that way forever on Windows and now Linux.
