Convert manga/comic files (EPUB, MOBI, AZW, AZW3) to KFX format via a reverse-engineered KPF (Kindle Publishing Format) generator. KFX is Kindle's native format and renders comics correctly without the issues above.

Tried this out on some manga and comics and it worked great.

One thing I noticed the left to right checkbox doesn't work. It stays right to left.

Nice to see an in-depth video about upgrades - hopefully 5.19.4 will be most of 5.19.3 minus whatever bug they pulled it for so you can edit that or upload an almost-dupe or whatever.

I never got any sluggishness turning pages, battery drain etc. Perhaps other factors are at play here such as the kindle model, region etc.

I do have another tiny bug - when getting the dictionary definition of a word up, it starts with a smaller window you need to scroll to see the rest of the definition, or you can drag to expand it. I've noticed on occasion you can scroll to the next - totally unrelated - word in the dictionary when in the initial small window. But this second word is neither visible nor scrollable to when expanded.

Slow page turns and battery drain can be caused by re-indexing content following update (which always happens). And if Kindle is loaded with manga & comics, it's gonna take awhile for that to complete (never mind there is usually no text in there to index).

I updated to 5.19.3 manually (including Paperwhite 11th generation) but since I do not side load AZW3 none of these issues affect me. 5.19.3 was there yesterday for 11th generation, so presumably they will be getting update to fix AZW3 issues.

I don't side load PDF either and was not aware anything was broken about it (unable to annotate at all?) for the older Kindles getting updates. But nice that Colorsoft Kindles show PDF color now and Scribes can write on them (I suppose that's okay for puzzle PDFs that would not need annotation to be exportable).

You might as well take down your video since Amazon pulled 5.19.3.

As to your video, it's trolling without mentioning it's also about the fixes in the firmware in the video title.

Are we reading the same post? They did mention a fix in the video title; they know it was pulled, and users who had 5.19.3 installed before it was pulled might wish to know what to expect. Doesn't even come close to my definition of trolling.

The blank page issue is (I think, or at least I can confirm it happens) to do with people sending fixed layout ePub to Send To Kindle. STK does not support this and sends 'failure' email.

You do get AZW3 fixed layout delivered to Kindles, and maybe it okay for some people, but it's not fully functional (no landscape, plus blank pages on at least some Kindles). The apps don't get fixed layout, it has font/margin adjustment so it is probably reflow able AZW3 which is not pretty.

And that's just for image only fixed layout ePub. Any with text is just gonna be a mess.

I would not expect this to get fixed with firmware update. And why would they fix Send To Kindle?

The video stated that no 5.19.3 was not there for 11th generation, and showed screen shot of this with others still showing 5.19.3 for other Kindles. But in it was there initially for 11th generation (I updated mine), so it was inaccurate to state that 11th generation didn't get it.

But yes, it is not trolling, just something that has changed after making video.

After video was shot it got pulled for all Kindles.

Why was the video posted after the firmware was pulled? Since the firmware was pulled, I think the video should also be pulled as it talks about a now non-existent firmware.
