First, thank you for this plugin, I really like it.

EDIT disregard my question, I was making things too complicated. I am not sure what is the rule here, if this question should be deleted to avoid further confusion, please feel free.

It's kiwidude's call, obviously, but what value is there to having this plugin give you the same number Calibre does?

If you like the Calibre number better, just use it...

I send the page count to my Kobo in the subtitle field when I transfer a book. I don't think I can do that directly from Calibre's pages column because the name doesn't start with # (pages instead of #pages) so I can't use my code with that column. I would just like to have the same count in both places (in Calibre and on my Kobo) and I'm looking for the easiest way to do it, and automating the process is obviously the easiest way, so I am just checking if it's possible / easy to try it from this side. Obviously it's not important enough (even to me) to put a lot of effort into it, but I might as well ask the question just in case, right ?

If it's not possible / too much trouble to be worth it then no worries.

Never mind, I was making things too complicated, I have found an easier solution.

I just tried it with 44 books in one go. It's definitely faster. Thank you.

Unfortunately if you count pages with more than one job in parallel (e.g. you choose 60 books with a batch size of 50) then under the hood it starts throwing errors. Thanks to a user for pointing this out to me. I only tested it with very small batch sizes which hid the problem. I've asked for help in the Development forum to see if someone can assist.

Lately I have been resisting adding new features due to lack of time but this one I pushed through thinking it would be a trivial change - which it was until you find it breaks things...

So long as you keep the number of books you count pages on at once below the batch size (i.e. 50 by default, you can change it in the options on the Other page) then it will continue to work fine. Hopefully someone can provide a simple solution or else I will revert it.
