Has anyone else seen any announcements from Eink on a release date for Gallery 4 displays?

The 'specs', such as they are, are probably totally wishful thinking. If they had said something more in line with a cheap Android phone that would make sense, knockoff or last-gen Android SoCs can be inexpensive. But 6 GB of RAM in this market, and ereader prices? Good luck. They can't have done any work on an actual feasibility study.

I randomly searched for five ebook titles on my wish list and Bookshop.org didn't sell any of them.

I'm also somewhat surprised to see 6 week battery life! I have to wonder how much reading they expect someone to do.

Also, would be a real nice change to have an easily replaced battery (ie a removable flap over the battery).

A swappable battery for heavy readers would be great! I'm capable of reading for 10 hours a day...which is a pain if you haven't got a charger & cable with you.

I always have a charger with me when I am away from home. Either in the car or a portable battery pack.

I don't carry a charger or a battery pack or want to carry another battery with me. I like the long battery life of eink ereaders.

I carry the battery with me when I have my bag with me. I don't use my battery all that much. But it's good to have. Because when I need it, I'd have it.
