(Although perhaps not quite as much as her Dragons of Safe Haven series - which, to be fair, only has one book so far, but at least two more are in the works, on March 31 and September 30 of this year.)

Deducing from the Luna City Limited blurb, it was originally serialized on Huni's website, and now is being sold on Kindle as one volume. Except right now, it's not being sold - it's free .

I was surprised that it's available as an epub direct download with no drm even though it's in kindle unlimited? The other 4 freebies I have from this author are not.

I've noticed recently that there have been books that should have had the epub direct download with no drm available (and are not in kindle unlimited), but don't have it available. Now this title had it available and it's in kindle unlimited? Is there something I'm missing or that I don't know about that dictates whether or not a title is available as an epub direct download with no drm? Does anyone know?

I do a little. This book is a prequel set well before the game starts. The author said it was so there would be no timeline issues with the game. It was a fun tie-in, but I mostly got it because I've enjoyed the author's Murder in an Irish Village series.

Thanks for the heads up! I went and downloaded Dragon Riders book I bought earlier. I think authors need to mark this option to be available.

It's set after. If you played the latest Secrets you met Nate. He's one of the characters in the book. He and Jack served together during the war.
