I just installed 8.12.100 under Windows 11 24H2 and nothing out of the ordinary. All went very smoothly. One difference though. The install ran faster.

It took a little longer than usual for the Windows Defender to check the installer at end of download, and I got a UAC prompt. Also a desktop icon appeared on my desktop even though I usually don't get them with the quick install.

Got warning and needed to do 'More Info' > 'Run Anyway', but otherwise installed fine.

Click advanced in the installer and turn off the desktop icon again. Presumably windows "forgot" that setting for some reason.

Released version 9.5.100 with the major new feature of a redesigned full text search results view. The results are now presented in cards with book covers. You can switch back to the previous compact view by clicking the button to the left of the search bar. See attached screenshot. It also allows sorting of the results by a few prominent builtin columns.

I noticed something weird here. I don't know if it also happens with previous versions. Never noticed.

1) Some results does match my search expression, and a random text is bold, like it was a match (see the yellow highlighted text in the screenshot). If I search in the book directly, it returns no match.
2) In other cases, the book does match, but the text in bold is off by a word (see the red highlighted text in the screenshot).

Yes, I noticed that too. It's happening since FTS was implemented, BTW. I get the impression it is some indexing issue that happens with some books.

I've had that happpn too. No idea why.
