Calibre can't "Send-to-Kindle E-Mail" - Page 5

As it turns out the POP3 wasn't activated on GMX. Don't know how that changed but it evidently did because it now works after activating POP3. Thanks everyone for listening.

Interestingly, or really not that interestingly to me, sending (converted) books to Kindle via Calibre over USB has not worked a single time in history, even if simply copying the same files manually once tended to work.

Manually sending books to the official e-mail address I think has also only worked for 5 minutes in history, even if Amazon might have pretended for almost the entire existence of the Kindle brand that it's an option, with always the same basic, slightly obscure guide. (I have no interest in looking that up again.)

Must be something wrong with your books or settings. Sending books from Calibre to my Kindles via USB worked for me for over a decade with many different Kindles, and has also worked for many thousands of other people.

What OS? Linux based can only have 1 USB drive mounted.
I just used the USB connection to grab 2 new books from my K4nt ON LINUX Mint because the download and xfer is not available for those titles at Amazon.
