I think I've reached my limit on this.
The program will be available for anyone who feels a need to use it and for whom it provides a benefit, but that's it.
It is now, technically, a PWA, which means that you can "install" it (from the Browser) on Windows, iOS and Android and it will look and act somewhat like an app, with its own icon and so on.
@Sirtel: thank you very much for your help on this--I learned a lot, both about programming dropbox and about how real people use Calibre.

I have revised BookSync to use the Calibre library database (hopefully in a way that won't break when Calibre modified the database). This means is should work with large libraries. The first post has been re-written.

I'm not going to develop this further. It will remain available against the day the the then-current iOS or Android app for syncing to Calibre starts acting up.

Yes, you missed it. I erased the link when I edited the first post. Its back now.
The program is a web-page: https://books.millmans.us/bluebooks.html. You can just click on the link that says "web page" above.

If you are using Chrome on android or iOS, you should be able to "install" it as it were an app, usually by selecting "add to home page" and then choosing install.
