Question of tristate boolean columns
Boolean (yes/no), setting to yes/no/undefined is a global setting require restart, instead of expected column setting. It seem odd, whats the reason for that?

It's a per library setting, but that doesn't explain why changing it requires a restart. I have a feeling it was a per user setting in the long ago past, maybe that's why.

Because without a restart one would have to close and re-open the library which is very fiddly to do and not worth the effort for a setting that is not changed often.

Also a reason it's not a column setting? Editing columns also require restarting.
