Shortcuts Helper
Provides quick access to Shortcuts preferences and current shortcuts list

Features
Can open either calibre's shortcut manager, or the current shortcuts listing; option is made via toolbar button checkboxes.





Installation
- Load from file
1. Download the latest release zip.
2. Preferences -> Plug-ins -> Load Plugin from File.
3. Select the zip, install, and restart Calibre.

This plugin is licensed under the GNU GPL v3.

- Windows, macOS, Linux

Ah, good catch. I'll see if I can implement a config dialog for user to choose which action the button must execute. Priority is to keep it a one click to open, while addressing compatibility with FM.

IMO, the 'Open Shortcuts Preferences' action isn't really needed, you can get to that via All-actions easy enough (Ctrl+F1,↑, Enter), and via Preferences drop down, besides folks who want to access Shortcuts frequently will probably have it on speed dial, for me it's Alt+Shift+S.

I see. I know about those but I like easy access buttons for most actions; that's why I just modified an existing plugin I already had created, just to include the action you requested. (current shortcuts dialog)... will see.

Maybe leave the toggles where they are, but add an additional menu to do the same as clicking top-level

Doesn't work from builtin menus either, i.e. the three Book list context menus, the menubar and the All actions menu… only works from toolbars… or shortcuts

The PI's shortcuts perform the action that's written on the tin… open the Preference=>Shortcuts manager, pop the Current Shortcut list. But the similarly named checkboxes in the drop down menu set a preference for what happens when an action (click a button) is executed elsewhere.

IMO setting a preference and executing an action shouldn't be conflated.
