Ah hell, yeah. That's what I think it is, anyway. Weather is weird all over. That's what happens when you get too much energy (i.e. heat) in the atmosphere. |

The weather's always been weird. It's weird every year. It's always changing. What really makes it all sound so weird are statistics. You can make statistics say anything you want them to. And when you turn those statistics into averages for comparison, it makes everything sound weirder still. I remember up through the '70s everyone was convinced we were on the verge of the next ice age and were going to freeze if we didn't do something about it. Well, I guess we've done something about THAT alright. Turned THAT problem 180 degrees in the other direction as now we're told. We just can't seem to get it right.

We had a clear sky for some minutes there - I have actually seen the sun (yeah, some time ago). Then it has been sticky (~22°C, very moist) for some time - and now the sky is pitch black, we have rain and strong winds.
AND I really want to write on a little piece of horror fiction (perfect weather, isnt it?) - but I have to continue working for university... :sigh: |

Another beautiful sunny day here but the cold biting wind continues. I wish it would stop.

That's one advantage of the heavy clay we're on. It will hold water very well. Even though the top might be cracked and baked, if you manage to dig about 30cm deeper, it's still moist.
