Well, if you're not sure after 7 days, you could risk £2.49 for another month and see if you really like it.

Hello to all.
On the website there was an option to join TestFlight, at the beginning. We planned it for 100 users, but reacted somehow lazily and ended up with 150 people in TestFlight. And then we removed that option. The TestFlight is (un)officially ended now, there is nothing to add to the app right now as I am now in process of "everything about getting the app properly into app store". Also about the price: the first week and first week only, there will be 50% discount on monthly and lifetime, that is what the waitlist is for... to not miss it. And as I don't know, how long it will take Apple to do what they have to do on their side, I do not know for sure, when it will be in AppStore. My plan is for March 1st, but I simply don't know all the processes Apple has to do to approve everything. |

I thought this was an Ipad app, since it is replacing Marvin, an Ipad app.

I'm using it on iPhone. I expect it would work on an iPad, but I don't think there have been any specific optimisations for iPad. But I'm not the developer, so I'm just guessing.

It’s for iPhone, but the iPad version is supposed to be on it’s way.

Hi, the iPad version is what I am working on now. Well not working on, but gathering ideas how to make it FOR iPad, not just to be running ON iPad.
Now it works on iPad technically OK, but it is not proper iPad version. By the word proper I mean not just scaled up working iPhone version, but a version, for which iPad is the primary focus: mainly design, but also use of pencil for example. So, the iPad version is now in the work with expected release later March or April. It will be technically the same app, so after an update in AppStore you will get automatically proper iPad version. Here is how it looks as an UNPROPER iPad, scaled iPhone version. So you can see the problems, which the app faces on iPad: for example the scaling, the stats, positions, sheets, no ipad reading widgets available (surprise for me), no search window, etc. But technically it works, sync with my iPhone (reading progress, notes, bookmarks, well everything there is to sync). The video is unedited, recorded from scratch on ipad simulator: https://jumpshare.com/share/QyaEkavO2SbQ0sgGx28E Please once again: this is not the final and proper iPad version. To answer your questions: 1. it works on iPad and in full screen 2. the proper iPad version is in working |

It looks like full screen, but with books still listed down left side.
The book cover view seems to have disappeared I tried it on iPhone and it doesn’t seem much different apart from screen size. I gather the iPad version is going to be different though. |

Hi, yes, it works in full screen.
And yes the ipad version UI will be different, this video just show how the actual build works and looks on ipad. Also.. what do you mean by "books still listed down left side"? |

Also, I do think the iPad version should have been worked on before the iPhone version. If I had known that was not the case, I would have said as much. I do hope the iPad version is not just a larger version of the iPhone version and that the UI is made to look good on a 13" iPad screen. |

We will need to try out the iPad version before paying and we'll want the discount. Also, 7-days is not enough to trial. We need at least 30 days. Also, if I was to try the iPhone version, I would want it not to expire until after I was able to trial the iPad version and when done, I'd want the discount. Your time limits are not long enough.
However, one solution is very simple. Don't release the iPhone version until the iPad version is ready to be released. Then we can test both for 30-days and then decide if we'd want to pay for it with the dicount. Last edited by JSWolf; 02-24-2026 at 07:59 AM. |
