Calibre 9.3 Merge books update, primarily for Kovid and/or those who assist.

Hi,

Previously I noted that there was an issue with merging. You fixed it with this release (https://github.com/kovidgoyal/calibr...271780620e06a8), but another problem occurs:

Error: Unhandled exception

The space between error information is my elimination of plugin information. I prefer to keep private, but if you do need it, let me know and I'll add it:

Again: Windows 11. Cover browser. The cover browser was the information you needed before, previously. I promise I'll sign up for the bug report system next time. My excuse: I try not to sign up for anything unless absolutely necessary. I'm not too online, and prefer to keep it that way. I hope you understand.

Another thanks. I came over here to report this very issue, and it's already fixed! (BTW I'm not using cover view, so that appears unrelated)

You are welcome and yes it was a regression I introduced in fixing the cover grid issue that affects all views (the error itself is harmless merging actually succeeds, it's just the refresh of the GUI to show the updated data that doesnt happen because of the error).
