[GUI Plugin] Quick Palette Customize

The colour settings in Look and feel->Main Interface (i.e the palette) apply to the Library manager and the Book Editor, I only discovered this recently.

Ah right, when I said "Editor own palette customiser" I meant "own color scheme" which is much like the NP++ Style configurator.

BTW, I tested EM long ago, but couldn't figure quite well its use.

If you didn't have a need for it, you wouldn't have 'got' it.

As I said, a combination of category links, category notes, and calibre://, file://, etc URLs in long text columns can be used to achieve what EM set out, and failed, to do… in one fell swoop.

Actually, to get what I have in Sigil is a combination of a BeckyEbook .qss and a setting in Sigil's preferences.

In the .qss I can set border colour and width. Sigil preferences has a "Highlight Widgets with Focus (Needs Sigil Restart)" checkbox - yellow 1 pixel is in the code :sigh:

Wrong: it's not in the code, it is in an Environment Variable - SIGIL_FOCUS_HIGHLIGHT_COLOR=#FFFF00

Yep, that's what I find challenging about palette customising. Happens with other UI elements too.

I will take a look but I remember Kovid saying that there is no framework for Viewer plugins, or something along those lines?

Don't need a plugin - already doable - have a look at my latest post in the Viewer subforum. Came to me 10 secs after post 26 here, had to check it out.
