The one posted in the first thread is the Comfy.n update with the modifications so that the plugin talks about palettes and not themes as when I made the plugin sketch

Do you want me to add it to the Plugin Index.

Added - Don't need two popups on delete, make the first one optional with a check box, and remove the second one.

Thanks to you both. This is becoming one of my frequently used plugins.
This is inspiring me to make more palettes to share.

Thanks for this PI.
Never thought of using palettes before but find it interesting to play around with different colours.
Two comments:
1 It would be nice to know which palette is applied. Maybe highlighted on the palette list.
2 I find that in a lot of the schemes the 'live css' box is very faint and difficult to read. Where can I change these colours?

Thanks again for your work.

I suggest name of current palette be shown in title bar, it may be out of sight in the list.

Provide a Shortcut for the plugin (for completeness sake), no default - and no need for more than that. Keyboard warriors like me can Tab through the buttons

Below are some suggestions for the opening post.

Features
Adds a toolbar icon to access the palette manager.

Automatically detects .calibre-palette files stored in Calibre’s configuration directory.

Lets you select and apply a palette from a popup window.

Applies colors using Qt’s QPalette system.

Supports importing and exporting palettes for easy sharing.

Optionally auto‑applies the last used palette at startup.
Where is this option? Seems to always apply last used - which is fine by me.

Not necessarily - the CALIBRE_CONFIG_DIRECTORY EnvVar can change it, and configuration settings are in the Calibre Settings folder for Windows Portable installs

Best leave it out.

Not really needed, if you really want something copy what's in FanFicFare

If I have to rewrite the description of the plugin, what I expressed was a sketch of when I published, this my first plugin and that thanks to the friend Comfy.n who made it work. These are my first steps and the criticisms and suggestions to grow are good.

Regarding the above comment I have found that this only seems to apply to light themes.
If I select a dark theme (and preferences/look and feel/ is set to dark) then all is fine and 'CSS Live' is visible.

So this is not a problem for me now as I prefer dark themes.
Would be interesting to know if there a fix for this though.
