Perhaps this was a test for a future version???

I will continue this evening. The old way of scraping remains in the plug-in , so changes are added to the existing methods. So it will be backwards compatible with the old way of serving pages.
But to add the latest, i need also the new way of serving. Will see tonight.

Recently, you've usually had to try 4-7 times before getting a result, but now it seems completely wrong. EDIT: NOT TRUE-The strange thing is that in the details, you can see that the book has been found (and the series is also listed)/EDIT, but still no result (no title, no author). This applies to all books, including those that have been processed recently through the BOL plugin. The "no title, no author" error has been going on for a few weeks, but after trying 3-9 times, you've usually gotten a result. Having an ISBN or no ISBN makes no difference. Below is a log file as an example.

Same problem here with BOL plugin... all books can be found on their site, but for some reason or other cannot be found when trying to find metadata, especially covers. Worked fine last week...

New version 6.0.0 of the plugin available at the start of this thread.
At first it seems more and more dfficult to get the right info from the webpages.
But then I noticed on the new webpage there is a kind of dictionary with all the info we need.
When that is found, the plugin use that as a reference, which results in a more quicker response. So in the end more easier
In testing it resolves all problems not finding any info. It is also a fix for ratings en tags.

@Pr.BarnArt So that's a major change, and therefore a new version. Thanks for your efforts; I'm very happy with it.
The new version is producing results again, but some books are experiencing errors, resulting in: KeyError: 'aggregateRating', and processing is aborted. Books that do produce results often also have an error message in the log: KeyError: 'genre'.
The advantage of the latter error message is that you do get a result, including the book description.
In the attached log, I've included three books that failed, and at the end, one that produced a result but also had an error in the logging:

I now have prevented errors in case there is no rating or there are no tags avaible.
Also a fix for accents in tags.
At the moment only the main author is returned. Will take a look at that another time.
New version 6.0.1. available . Hope that will do.

Thank you so much, and so fast!!! It works like it used to with this version 6.01. And for some reason, the covers are now about 750x1200 instead of XXX x 820. Thank you so much for your efforts.

@Pr.BarnArt I've done some more testing and it mostly works very well, with significantly more labels and indeed larger cover sizes. However, a number of books do exist at BOL (I even copied the BOL information into Calibre), but they all get the same error:

The interesting thing is that the book was actually retrieved, because sometimes the log contains information that isn't in my Calibre (series name and number).
