Suggestion: Way to add custom fonts (e.g. CharInk) to the font dialog without editing plugin files.

Sounds reasonable. I've also been wanting to update the font dialog with the fonts added in more recent firmware versions.

Could you please create a GitHub issue for this for easier tracking?

The correct name for the current font is ChareInk7SP.

I thought the request was to allow adding custom fonts via a dialog, not adding a specific font.

Sorry, I might need some help here. For some reason my kobo wouldn't connect to wifi, no matter what I did so I reset the device. Before I reset the device to backed up my books and the database. After the reset the wifi works again, however I cannot figure out how to restore the database. I copied the backup into the.kobo file and renamed it but nothing is sticking and it keep resetting the device.

What am I doing wrong?

Did you update the firmware to the same version as when the database was created? If you used the Kobo Utilities backup tool, did you copy all the files into the correct places? If you only backed up the database(s), did you save and restore both the KoboReader.sqlite and BookReader.sqlite files?

Generally, I've found that restoring the two databases and the Kobo eReader.conf file to the same firmware revision works.

I believe I did update to the same firmware before I moved over the KoboReader.sqlite and BookReader.sqlite files, and it just reset the kobo again.

I will try it again later today just in case.

Yeah, that didn't work. I'm just going to reset and update one final time and rebuild my library with my backups.

Interesting to put it mildly. I'm going to have to play with this and see if I can duplicate your issue.

Changing reading status (either by restoring position or updating metadata) doesn't seem to work.

Store-loaded book, reset the date to null and percentage to 0. It still shows as read in my Kobo.

Seems a bit odd. If by store-loaded, you mean purchased from Kobo and synced to your ereader, do you have Update purchased books checked in the 3rd tab of the KoboTouch configuration dialog?

Hmm, I can't reproduce that. I tried the "Update metadata" feature and was able to successfully update a store-bought book. Are you sure that the book is correctly matched to one in the Calibre library?

Do you have a debug log? I think the part after you click the OK button in the dialog should be enough.
