Reload conformation page
What:
Occasionally when I am reading a book with the Calibre Viewer, I spot a mis-spelled or formatting error in the book. So I pop over to the Book Editor and edit the book to fix the error, and save it. Then I go back to the viewer and reload it to see the corrections and continue reading. The Problem: I reload by pressing Escape and opening context menu and selecting "Reload" Only to get the "Are you really really sure you want to reload this book?" screen. Suggestion: Delete the conformation screen, or make it optional in the preferences screen. I just find it annoying to have to keep selecting "Yes I'm really really sure" Yes I know there are keyboard short cuts, but I there are hundreds of short cuts across dozens of programs and I don't even try to remember them all. (Ctrl-A Ctrl-X Ctrl-C Ctrl-V) is about my limit. (Oh and Ctrl-W and Alt-Tab) |

If I spot something I want to change while viewing it's usually minor, and it's probably one of several mistakes.
So, I open the book folder, copy the epub to the desktop and edit it there… the Preview is usually sufficient to confirm the corrections. When I close the viewer, I do a save and close in the editor, in which I may have made several corrections. I then replace the epub in the library book record - usually with a copy (Ctrl+C) at the desktop, and an Add books->Add files to selected book records from clipboard (Alt+Shift+V [custom]) in the book list. I prefer to use Sigil and/or PageEdit to edit EPUBs, and if I have the manuscript* I edit that. BR * - manuscript formats DOCX, ODT, WP, RTF, TXT, MD, INDD… QXP

Wow I did not know about Ctrl-D (which opens the editor to the location in the book I am reading. Making it easy to find what I wanted to correct or edit.) That is a VERY convenient short cut.
