Broomfield out of stock in 24 hrs...
Yesterday, I went to the Borders in Broomfield, CO to pick up my reader. They had four in the display, with a number of cradles and cases. Today, I went back to pick up a leather case (I'm a sucker for accessories), and the display was _empty_ of all readers and cradles, and only had three (now two) cases left.
I'd say that's a pretty good sign of sales! Last edited by jmdor; 11-01-2006 at 02:33 PM. Reason: Typo |

Yeah, the local Borders refused to put one on hold for me - they claimed two reasons... security (can't leave it on a shelf behind the front desk) and popularity (they were selling far faster than they had anticipated).
