Easiest way to convert html files to ePub

All:

Going through my old drives, I discovered a number of folders, each of which contain between five and 100 HTML files. Each folder is a separate book.
What is the easiest way to convert these folders to an ePub?

Ideally, I'd like to simply throw them at something, which spits out an ePub, no further work on my part required.

Have you tried just adding the html files to calibre and converting to ePub?

My preferred method is to open a blank ePub in Sigil and adding the html files in order. A lot of the time, they have inline styles which Sigil will convert to a stylesheet and then beat that stylesheet into a somewhat sensible look.

If you add index.html (or the equivalent master page). that should pull the rest in the proper order.
there is a FAQ entry on this
