[GUI Plugin] Overdrive Link

I'm getting an error when searching The Internet Archive and it does not seem to like the empty sort and callback parameters.

Removing the two lines

query.append(('sort[]', ''))
query.append(('callback', '')) # empty for pure json

seems to resolve the issue.

I don't see mention of "biblionix" (https://www.biblionix.com/, e.g. https://monrovia.biblionix.com/catalog/) Not sure if it's supported under another name, or un-supported under another name...

That is a service used by libraries to manage resources such as collections. However as far as I can tell it relies on other providers, such as Libby, to actually handle e-book lending. I don't see any added benefit in supporting their catalog system in this plugin.

I originally developed this plugin for my own use and still use some of its features regularly. Other plugin features are now non-functional due to website changes made over time by e-book lending services. For those I rely on anyone using them to report bugs. If no one cares enough to bring it up then it isn't worth my time to fix it. (Even with a report I may decide to just remove a non-working feature if it is too much effort to correct.)

I know that development model firsthand -- thank you for all you have done with this. Honestly, without it I don't know if I'd have as much use for Calibre. Thanks and respect.

It appears that OCLS has dropped cloudLibrary as an ebook provider. I will update the plugin so that it gives a more useful error message for this case.
