Smile Hello everybody! I'm a developer of a new Android reading app
I promise I am not just here to spam ads. I genuinely want feedback from avid readers to help me optimize my app, BooxReader. It is now live on the Google Play Store.

This is a passion project. It is completely free and has no ads. I am not looking to make money from it. I built it simply because I love reading and found that other apps did not quite fit my needs.

It supports a wide range of formats including PDF, EPUB, TXT, CBZ, CBR, and many more. It also features TTS functionality.

I would really appreciate it if you could give it a try. I am eager to hear your thoughts, and even critical feedback is highly welcome!

Is it the app com.onyx.galaxy.global.booxreader by "StarNote"? I couldn't download it on Aurora store ("Could not get file" error), updates for already installed apps worked fine though.
Besides it says that this app requires Google Play Services. I have deactivated all Google stuff that's possible via adb on all my devices. So I guess this app wouldn't work anyway. Why does it require the google trash when it's supposed to be free without ads? I don't see any reason for this requirement.

If you make a google free version in the future you should offer it on F-Droid as well.

I wonder what Onyx Boox says to the app name "com.onyx.galaxy.global.booxreader".

If you had an iOS version, I would be happy to test it. But as I don't do Android, I'm out.
