Now I'm only missing The Grey Wolf, which I missed when you posted back then. I've bought all the other books on sale at some point, so I'm hopeful it'll go on sale at Amazon one day.

Agreed. But at age 71, I count reading the missing titles from my "collection" just the one time as a WIN. My TBR list consists of hundreds of ebooks and hundreds of audiobooks, so time is going to run out on me before I get through it!

A few years ago, I had an ARC of Consolation, which is one of the books in Garry Disher's Hirsch series, and I really liked it. And since then, I've read a few of his other books when I've been able to get them on sale, and have also liked those. Now, all seven books in Disher's Hal Challis/Peninsula series have dropped to £2.89 at Kindle UK. Per SYKM, a couple of the books in this series were finalists for the Ned Kelly Award for Best Novel, and one of them won it. And Disher himself won the Ned Kelly Lifetime Achievement Award in 2018.

Sadly, this price drop doesn't seem to be replicated anywhere else that I could find, not in the US, not at Kobo UK, and I even, just for funsies, looked at Kobo Australia, where they are stunningly expensive. And it's several days old, so I suspect if it were going to be matched elsewhere, it would have been. Several of the books in the series did go on sale briefly for £2.29 a few months back, but I missed it, and also occasionally go on sale at odd other times, so I guess I (and you) can decide how patient to be...

I'm not quite sure what message giving someone a book called The In Death Christmas Collection might send. But if your recipient likes JD Robb's Eve Dallas series, it will probably send a good one...

The In Death Christmas Collection contains two books, Festive in Death and Holiday in Death and a novella, Midnight in Death, and it's on sale in the UK for £0.99. Note that the novella has been in a couple of other Eve Dallas collections, so check carefully before you buy if that's the only one you want...

Today's Big Deal at Kindle UK is 10 books by Elmore Leonard for £0.99 each. Mostly crime/espionage (the green covers), but a few westerns (the yellow covers).

Do note that if you want to try to price match, these are the Penguin editions. There are some other publishers/editions of some of these books at Kobo UK that probably aren't price-matchable. So use caution...
