Is it true that custom columns with Yes/No formatting can only filter in English?
I'm not sure if that format is filtered correctly in other languages.
But when I use the Vietnamese interface, Yes/No is displayed as Đúng/Sai (đúng/sai), and I can't click on the value to filter for books that match that value. It displays all the books in the Library, and the search box is red. And when I switch to the English interface, the results are correct. Is there anywhere I can fix this problem? Ah, I found a very manual way. It's to change the word "yes" or "no" in the search bar. Instead of clicking on the Vietnamese text.

I was able to confirm your issue.
Upon clicking any of the values in book details pane, the search bar throws an error if UI is in vietnamese. I suggest you file a bug so Kovid or someone from the dev team can address it: https://bugs.launchpad.net/calibre/ (and this is one of the reasons why I prefer all my software in english...  )

Works OK for me in German and French
The Interface language list goes off-kilter if I change it to Vietnamese: Looks like a bug to me. BR |

I tested Hebrew, Japanese, Chinese, Greek. Yes/No filtering by clicking on the values in book details pane works fot those. So..I guess the issue is restricted to Vietnamese
