Palma 2 Pro Notes App ?
Hi

Would it be possible to extract the notes app from a Palma 2 Pro and install on Palma 1/2 for viewing notes ?

Search the google play store for "apk extractor". There are several apps that will create an apk from an app installed on a device. That apk can then be sideloaded to a new device. Sometimes it works fine, sometimes not.

I dont know. I was unable to install launcher to any other device, it was rejected by phone due to some signature. But I tried normal Motorola phone.

Is it neccessary to install launcher? After you installed just notes package, nothing changed?

No - it all looks the same. The notes app is listed in Settings / Apps and Notification / Application , but that’s all. I tried to open it using „Cx File Explorer“ but nothing happened

Sorry, do not know more. I am kinda new with Onyx and their Android distro seems heavily modified from what I ever seen.
On my Palma, Notes app is not even visible as separate app in any launcher. Only in onyx launcher I see it on most left screen of the launcher, where library is.

I would go with root and try to replace APKs on /system partition. But it is certainly not for everyone.
Mainly it is risky. I was already thinking that I am stuck with bricked Palma 2 Pro some time ago. For older Palmas there are probably some tested procedures. But it is risky anyway! Do proper backup at least!

Maybe someone other knows better.
