The hybrid view I wanted is probably way too much work to implement:

What is width of book based on? Calibre doesnt have pagecount column by default, and filesize would be unreliable to determine.

Looks good enough for me, it's a custom GR notes fork that uses Bookerly and a smaller font-size.

Bookerly is one reason it doesn't look good. Bookerly is not a good looking font. Amazon really should get rid of it.

Try the new ChareInk7SP. It'd better then the original version. The original version was based on Charis SIL version 5.

Filesize by default but you can customize it to use a pages custom column or similar using a template.

Yeah, I didn't elaborate much in my comment because I didn't want to pollute/digress this thread from it original subject, especialy because is still in developement.
All I wanted to say was give a information that the tweak "hide ai features" is delayed and nowhere near to come because is holden by a biggest feature.

Hmm. I don't remember a lot of people saying that they don't have any paper books in their homes. Many have said that they no longer read paper books for a number of reasons, but that's different.
