The one that opens from the desktop calls ebook-viewer.exe
from the library it spawns a process. I suspect the 3rd party firewall is overly aggressive? (I would expect that the calibre Editor would also have issues) |

Yes, but it didn't work when I had that completely turned off. And now it's working, and that firewall is on. So...I don't know.
And no, I haven't had any issues with the main program at all, including the editor. |

Oh, and when it wasn't working, I did try both directly opening a book from the main program and by going to a book that wasn't in Calibre, so...
|

And I just give up. Nothing is opening again. *sigh* Guess I'll use a different reader.
