This marketing effort last December ↓↓↓ must have worked, because there's another drawing/free e-books thing going right now, with six romantasy books, and some of the same authors. But only - according to the email I got about it - for the rest of the day today.

As before, there is a contest for some signed books to enter, but also six free e-books, which can be downloaded by clicking on the images of the books on the contest webpage, which will take you to Amazon to "buy". Or, I suppose, if you wanted to go to a lot of trouble, you could just search for the books yourself at Amazon, and not click on the links. But I haven't had a lot of spam from clicking on the links last year, although, of course, YMMV. I didn't enter the contest last year, and won't this year, because I really don't need any more physical books. But I do appreciate the e-book freebies, to try some new authors and/or series.

The giveaway doesn't seem to require you to sign up for the drawing, which also gets you on each author's mailing list, so I'm comfortable posting it here. For me, this was in the lower top range of Zapata's books. I have a few of her books I really like, and this was right below those. And free is free!

Once again, there's a Joffe/Choc Lit free romance for the weekend, and once again, there are only a few hours left, since I've been swamped. My apologies...

This weekend's free book is somewhat appropriately titled, As Weekends Go. It's a sports romance, and the first in the Hawksley Manor series by Jan Brigden.* I haven't read anything by this author, but, as noted above, it's FREE.* *So you can just try it, and delete it if you don't like it.
