Local tool to convert epub to kindle formats (azw, mobi, kfx)

Want to sideload books (epub format) directly from my ipad to my kindle. Not via the "send to" email, and not requiring a mac or pc. Im trying to simplify my workflows, I wish there was a full version of calibre for ipad, but oh well.

Again, I understand that the "send to kindle" exists. But Id like to not be dependent on that.

Possible answer is jailbreaking my kindle, Ill investigate that separately. But mainly looking to see if there is a local, not cloudbased converter, on ipads.

Thanks for any suggestions.

It can't be done. You have to use a computer if you can get your ePub off of your iPad. If any of your ePub have DRM, you have to remove the DRM. If the ePub with DRM come from Apple, forget it as you can't remove the DRM. If the DRM is LCP, forget it as well because you won't be able to remove the DRM.

One way to do it is if the ePub have Adobe's DRM, download them on a computer and then you can remove the DRM and convert to a Kindle format. However, you will need calibre with the ACSM Input plugin as well as the DeDRM plugin. If you don't know about these things, go have a wander over to the calibre forum and also look in the plugins section.
