Based on the forum's guidance, here is the phased plan for the name change and migration. Could you confirm if this approach seems correct?

Start a new plugin entry under the new name, Ask AI Plugin.
Request the admins to add the new plugin to the official calibre Plugin Index page.
Release a small update for the old plugin (Ask Grok) that includes a dialogue box to remind users of the renaming and prompt them to upgrade.
After a reasonable transition period, I will officially abandon the old plugin.
Request the admins to remove the old plugin from the index and officially tag it as abandoned.

Does this migration strategy sound right to you?

Looks fine, I think. Transition period is a good idea.

I think the latest version v1.3.2 is enough to publish to replace old plugin.

So any time to review? I want to replace old plugin, but review the new Ask AI Plugin and get it into the calibre Plugin Index is the first step.

Can this plugin please use a different AI? I refuse to use this because Grok belongs to Elon Musk.

Yes you can.

Download the newest version Ask AI Plugin in calibre’s plugins list, there are many other options you can use.

But I won't do that while Grok is an option. Can Grok be removed forever?
