Libra Are we expecting a Kobo Libra BW?

Well, the battery life of my Sage has deteriorated suddenly and significantly after 4 years of daily use. It's barely half of what it used to be. I'm reluctant to buy a new Sage at this point, because a new 8” model might come out next year. At least I hope so.

My Libra 2 is fine, but then I've used it less than the Sage.

There should be no need to have to solder a new battery because the original battery did not last long enough.

That's the problem. The battery is not good enough.

If we had a 2000mAh battery with a Carta 1300 screen, we'd be good to go.

The Eplisa can also use a screen and battery upgrade.

I think they could also use processor upgrades to a processor that does sleep/hibernation better.

There are already two color Kobo. The BW models need updating first.

We are getting an updated Clara Colour before we get a 7" Libra BW. That (IMHO) is not fair.

Sage is 8″, people that want mono 7″ don't want an updated 8″.

There is no good reason why there isn't 5, 6, 7, 8 and something between 8" and 10.3".

I want both, actually. A new Sage (preferably with better power management and a bit better battery life) and a new, faster Libra, both black and white.

I guess that Kobo disagrees with you.

So both colour and BW in all those sizes? no 10.3, 10.7 or 13.3? Are there any eink panels between 8 and 10.3?

What would be best is a 7" Libra BW, and updated Sage, and an updated Elipsa all in BW. Then at some point Kobo can make the 8" and 10.3" in color. Then Kobo can do a 5" BW.
