We're approaching the region of the bloatosphere where updates are 2 GB!

Yeah. I want to convert from leaf5 to go7. However, the touchscreen doesnt work on leaf5 after converting to go7. My friend who has some knowledge on modding rom for phone tells me that if he has the full ota rom for leaf5, it's possible for adding gg play services then i can flash the modded rom

There is no go7 v2, this is the first gen of go 7 (bw screen). Leaf5 is basically go7 without note taking function, so I guess there is no way to convert directly leaf5 to international like previous gen of leaf such as leaf2=leaf2p, leaf3=page

Hi Renate, I just tried to flash a leaf5 by a go7 2025 rom, but after successful boot to go7 rom, Its touch function does not work now. But i can control it on a laptop screen by your Grab app

There's probably hardware differences between the two models.
I really know nothing about either.

Did you save a full, raw backup of the original Leaf5?

If you can, you should run from rooted shell inscan and i2cscan on your device running both Leaf5 and Go7.

So apparently getting the Go 7 firmware onto the Leaf 5 doesn't work because of the pen stuff (probably due to stylus support on the Go 7 and not the Leaf 5), and getting google play store sideloaded on the stock firmware doesn't work as well. Can you still sideload aurora store ?

After some mistake my leaf5 bricked, then i teared down my Leaf5 to find edl active pins.
Can you guide me how to find them? It looks different than Pokes

Usually the easiest way is with an EDL cable.
You can usually make one yourself.
It may not work if your device is really bricked.

I don't think that I have a Microsoft account.

Yes, that's very likely it.
Next to it is probably the UART: RX, TX, Gnd.

If those 2 points are test points, so Boox uses pullup method, not pulldown method likes most of other brands. Right?
