For obscure reasons, I was looking for Pork Broth. I see lots of items on the grocery shelf for chicken, beef, lots of different vegetables, but not pork.

When I searched on the pages of several major grocers, I would get Hundreds of items, all referring to something else. I don't want endless variations on chicken or beef, I just want to know if you carry Pork Broth.

I tried several different (I thought, anyway) methods of limiting the search, and nothing worked to eliminate all the junk. everything just added searching for "broth" to the results.

I finally did find a reference to a company that made nothing But pork broth, but those items were hundreds of dollars for very large quantities.

At least in the store in person, I can scan the shelf and quickly determine there aren't any.
Maybe you'll already seen, but there are several-same links on "why there is no pork broth on stores"; thought that if the reason is the economy, the beef bones cost like 34 cents.

Try the East Asian (Filipino, Vietnamese, etc) grocers and/or butchers, most of them should have pork bone broth, if not as a liquid, then as powder or cubes.

Downloaded & installed a 3rd party 1,001 blade Swiss army knife because it has an export/import tool for one of the multitude of obscure features in MS Word - Autocorrect->Exceptions->Don't capitalise after…

Export was fine - asked for a folder, then saved the data in an xml file, but the Import asked for a folder but 'forgot' to ask for the file.

Yesterday I accidentally discovered that MS has reinstated the Research feature that disappeared when they onboarded CoPilot. But not to where it was in References, the user has to customise the Ribbon… which is easy enough… but how many Word users even know it's doable.

Sigh…

For what it may be worth, my personal preference for pork broth is pork neckbones or backbones in the slow cooker. Most of the commercial pork broths have way too much salt in them while my homemade version allows me to control the amount of salt and flavourings.

Sorry about mixing up details. I was using Duck Duck Go, but then I was looking at the specific web sites for some of the local store I use. I wasn't really trying to find a place to buy it, I was instead trying to find if *this specific store* carried it. for the cases of about 4 stores.

within that context, those websites did not follow any search limiting syntax that I found.

I did eventually find some, but yeah, I had to look in a local Asian market to find some place that would carry it. And I agree about the level of salt most of the commercial broths use.
