"Folders" didn't think to look at the bottom of the File Explorer for folders.
And yes, it's in it's own folder. Don't know why the search never found it though. Anyway, thank you for the heads up about folders, all good to go. |

I've now got the .azw but now when I'm trying to add it to Calibre it shows as added, but I cannot read it in Calibre, or convert to kepub.
I've got DeDRm 10.0.9 as a plugin as well as KFX input 2.26.2 |

I've now downloaded and installed the plugin from that link.
Having trouble finding the kindlekey.txt I've also downloaded and installed "Everything" and it's currently doing it's startup search of all the drives. Still cannot find the kindlekey.txt Last edited by Chocky; 10-20-2025 at 11:14 AM. |

Did you read the entire article? Kindlekey.txt will be generated when you run the .bat file.

Yep, run the .bat file after installing Python 3+ but the .bat doesn't seem to run anything like it's shown in the example, and kindlekey.txt does not appear in the folder containing the .bat file

Detailed help with DRM removal must be given off-forum. Perhaps where you got the software?

@Chocky if you are still going to buy enough Kindle eBooks, get an older Kindle. get a K3 all the way up to a PW1. Then you can download to the Kindle and easily copy the eBooks into calibre to have the DRM removed.

Thank you for the suggestion. I do not know anything about Kindles, would this be OK for example? "Amazon Kindle D01100 4th Generation 6" E-Reader 2GB Wi-Fi Black" |
