KOkobo - Kobo store downloader plugin
The KOkobo KOReader plugin allows you to download your purchased Kobo books and view your wishlist from KOReader. This means that you no longer have to transfer the books you want to read from your computer to your e-reader device.

Features
  • downloading DRM-free and DRM-protected books from Kobo
  • downloading books available in the Kobo Plus subscription
  • downloading book samples from Kobo
  • book listing grouped by state (unread, read, all, archived), and option to sort by author, title or read date
  • viewing the wishlisted books from Kobo, and option to sort by author, title or wishlisting date
  • showing basic information about the books (short description, ISBN, language, publisher, publication date)

I made this out of lazyness. I have been using it for two months, and it has been stable for me. Let me know if you run into any issues.

Why would you download DRM-protected eBooks when KOReader cannot handle them?

The Repository readme mentions built-in DRM-removal.

Honestly, DRM-removal alone is what I would probably be interested in. I’ll check out the code but maybe you can explain how that works and if it can be made more agnostic than just kobo store?

I fear a project this convenient is likely to cause more harm than good if it causes Kobo to retaliate by beefing up security on the server side. Since the project contains built-in DRM removal and also appears to remove DRM from Kobo Plus books, thus preventing the authors from getting paid, it might not be such a great idea.
