export/import library actions

Is the export (library export) option gone forever. I've asked several times but did not get an answer - it wast there in calibre 8.9 and gone in 8.10. It was mentioned as usefull when porting to a different OS.

No, it still there. There is no reason why it would have disappeared.

You did get answers, your response to some was to whinge, and on at least one other occasion you asked further questions.

Thanks for all your efforts. The question was about export/import of an ENTIRE LIBRAY not a single books. And the answers appear to ignore the fact that I was "talking" about actions on MACOS and not Windows. The export/import of an entire library is still gone! And my original question is still open.

I think this has been advised before but let's see if I can help, try this:

Preferences -> Toolbars and Menus -> *the menu bar* -> add the item *Choose Library*.

It should display like this:

(I'm assuming UI is in english language; note that the Choose Library action, which contains the export menu item, will show up under different translations depending on your UI language!)
