I went looking here, and I didn't find a driver for your card.

Nate - Maybe you can help. I just got my Cisco Aironet 350 card. But I dont know how to configure this thing to communicate with my wireless router. A Belkin G router. Where can I find the ip address, subnet mask, and default gateway, and primary and secondary dns this thing is asking me for?

Hi NATE the GREAT,
I just got my Aironet 350
But wenn it tries to connect it cancels it and i do not know why.
I tried to give a Static IP the Subnetmask of 255.255.255.0
the default gateway which is my WLAN Router but still missing the DNS thing.
Do I have to set up my XP Computer in a specific way to be able to run the AIRPANEL on remote Desktop?

OH my systemsettings are as follows:
Upstairs my working PC with XP-Pro connected via LAN with my WLAN Router a Fritzbox 7150
downstairs I am running a media PC with XP-Pro on WLAN ( WRT54 NETGEAR) and an accesspoint a Fritzbox 7050 WLAN which helps me to connect to my Kids PCs
All PCs are under one network

@LostNewbie
Sorry, I just now saw this.

From the way you guys are phrasing your questions, I'm going to assume that you have the 4.1 firmware, which came with the driver preinstalled. The driver is screwed up. I'm told the problem affects most devices with the 4,0, 4.1, 4.2 firmwares. The following thread covers this problem and the solution.
http://www.hpcfactor.com/forums/foru...=13307&start=1

It's there, trust me.

I finally got it to work, Thanks for ur support NATE
Now WLAN works with the AIRONET350 and also the RDM works fine, but a bit slow so.
Does anyone know if it is possible to run win ce 5.2 on the airpanel?
Am just waiting on my CF card so i would like to change it to a newer version, am running now 4.0.728 i think.
Anyway is there any restriction on the capacity of the CF card? Looking at a SANDISK 4 or 8 GB Extreme II
Oh I also have a Linksys PCMCIA WLAN card WPC54G would it be possible to run it on the airpanel with a newer software?

Hi Dude74

Can you please share with us how you managed to get Cisco Aironet 350 to work ?

My battery is dead within a month. I don't know whether the battery is dead or the battery charging circuit is not working. I think Nate mentioned this problme as well.

@Nate: How your device is working ? Is your battery working or you have to use with AC only ?

Regards

I need to start subscribing to threads I start. I keep losing track.

If the battery dies at a month then it is very likely the charging circuit. I've looked in Viewsonic's part store, and at one point they listed it as spare part. This means replacement should be a simple matter of swapping out the broken board with a new one by a competent ET should we ever find a source for the board.

Hi there, sorry for the delay of response but i didnt have any internet due to provider problems ;(
I started my Airpanel with a total reset, after booting I plugged in the AIRONET350 and it got recognized, thats all I did.
To be able to remote ur desktop you have to use an Administrator account with a password.
This you have to type into the remote desktop program of ur Airpanel and the specific IP of ur Desktop u like to remote control.

It should look like this:

IP: 192.1XX.XXX.XXX ( the IP u like to connect to)

Password: Hellybelly (example)

Then connect

thats all

Yes, it can read Microsoft Reader. It's not my preferred format, but it does work okay.

It looks like my Airpanel has the same problem
Did you have any luck with Viewsonic?
