Hi everyone,

I’m looking for a full SD card image for the Kobo Aura Edition 2 (model N236) — the very first version of the Aura Edition 2.

Here’s what happened:
I was under the inpression i was trying to fix a Kobo Clara BW, so I mistakenly installed the Clara BW firmware update on the SD card. Since then, the device only shows the Powered off screen or keeps rebooting.

I’ve checked pgaskin.net and other sources, but those are only update packages (KoboRoot.tgz) and not the full recovery image with partitions.

If anyone still has a backup image from their Aura Edition 2 SD card, I’d really appreciate it if you could share it (via Google Drive or another mirror).

Hi everyone,

I own a Kobo Glo HD (model n437) currently running firmware 3.19.5761 — which I believe is the last 3.x version before the transition to the 4.x series.

Unfortunately, I’m unable to update directly from 3.19.5761 to any 4.x firmware (the device gets stuck during boot after the update).

Could anyone please share a working 4.x .img system image for the Glo HD — ideally version 4.6.995 or a nearby build — so I can restore it to a modern state?

I already tried flashing the official update packages, but my unit freezes at startup, so I think I need a complete .img with a newer bootloader.
