I have posted the libota of Note X5. The X5 mini is just released on 25/09 and is on the way to me. I will pulled the libota file asap

Procedures as usual:

Code:

adb reboot edl
edl /ltab10cp.bin
edl /u /w /precovery_ab rec.img 
edl /z
adb reboot recovery

Device reboots, after that it stuck on boox logo

Code:

adb shell
#id
#start autoupdate

Screen goes blank. Insert the stick with decrypted tab ultra C pro update on it, the screen show some artifact (My guess it's the text that show the progress of update as usual, but it does not display properly). After waiting about 5 mins, device reboots and it's an Tab Ultra C Pro now. Thank you Renate

(If the flash of the new software overwrote recovery could you flash the custom recovery back?)

The ioctl was not supported.
That reverted to a fix I had for the TabMiniC.
Mmm, I'll have to figure out something for the future.
