Settings for downloaded news not working
In preferences -> behavior I had the following ticked:
"Automatically send downloaded news to e-book reader" "Delete news from library when it is automatically sent to reader" This worked fine. I then unchecked the boxes and applied the changes, but the behavior continues. Restarting calibre and the computer did not fix the problem. It still sends and deletes all downloaded news. |

That setting refers to sending books to the device when you plug it in via USB. You presumably have configured some other form of sending to device, such as via email.
