I want to copy all values from my custom column #rating to Calibre’s default rating column. My custom column allows half stars, so I need each value rounded either down or up to the nearest full star before copying. What’s the best way to do this—either with scripts, Calibre’s command line, or built-in functions? Any tips or examples would be greatly appreciated!

Use calibre's search & replace to copy the values. They are rounded down.
You can round up if you use a template as the source, as in However, note that the problem you reported in Searching for custom column #rating with calibredb gives unkown sort field and are working around with this copy has been fixed. |
