Question How does the new German Text-to-Speech sound after the latest Kindle update?

Hi,

I’ve heard that the latest Kindle firmware update improved the German Text-to-Speech / Assistive Reader voice.
Has anyone tried it yet and could share how it sounds?

If someone could post a short recording or even just impressions, that would be amazing.

Thanks a lot!

Best regards,
Harry

I saw reference to this on Reddit but had not tried it out until now (when did it first show up?). The English voice is pretty good. I'm charging up a pair of BT headphones that have just been lying around and will be using it more.

I do not understand German, but downloaded a German title and tried it out - sounds okay to me (sample is playing at 1.25x speed).
