Classic A scavenger hunt for rooted Nook Classic users!

A device so pristine that it could have been unboxed yesterday has come into my hands :-)

So...lots of stuff hard to find....

What I have now is rooted 1.7 (nice that it was fully updated and clearly cared for all these years).

I've been doing some experimenting with the various nookdevs apps, but several other things have caught my attention in reading over old threads here and in the development section. I'm thinking/hoping maybe someone out there might have the files... Maybe?

That would be a patched ReaderEpub.apk, android.policy.jar, and libpdfhost.so

Also, copies of the original ReaderEpub.apk and android.policy.jar from FW 1.5.

I've already asked the original developer (still around here by another handle), but he has nothing :-(

More seriously, your post is rather old, but if you're still looking, PM me so that we can arrange for someplace mutually convenient to which I can upload the requested files. I do not check in here very often, but will try to remember to do so at least once before the direct neural link ereaders come out.

Hooray! I thought for sure all that work was lost to Entropy. As it happened my BNRV100 came with FW 1.7 already installed and I have also since run down the 1.7 update file.

So what I am missing is the patched Reader app stuff.

The requested files should be attached (modulo the usual forum uncertainties about attachments for the uninitiated). I thought them rather larger, and the attachment limit smaller, so assumed we would have to rendezvous elsewhere. They are uselessly zipped because the forum software does not like .7z files.

The zip contains both of the archives from his defunct sites.google.com. The modified files are in -hack-v1.2.1.7z. I believe the 1.5 files you want are in -sources.7z/original/ (along with some decompiled stuff); if these are the wrong version, I can pull them from one of the 1.5.0* firmware updates.

I seem to have been hacking on these files myself at one point, as I have a directory with some modified-modified versions, but I've no idea what I was trying to do or whether I got it to work. Undoubtedly these are questions you do not want to answer; what I have attached is his original (and the original-original) version.
