Arg! The company InCase makes a keyboard that I've been wanting to buy. But it's been out-of-production and "coming soon" for months. I was on their waiting list, but I was never notified. I noticed that it was available, but when I went to order it it was only available in the US. So I ordered to my mailing service and had it forwarded to Europe. The DHL to here cost more than the keyboard. Then I get a message from DHL that I have to pay customs of half the cost of the keyboard. Then I see that Amazon sells this stinking keyboard in Europe. |

Except that it sounds like he never stops at the box now, so you can't even give him a small gift! Grrrrr.

For the last 6 months I've been typing on a 10 € "gaming" keyboard which was quite "klonky". It was the only thing I could find without an "L" shaped Enter key. Boy, do I hate that. "Y" and "Z" being swapped doesn't annoy me too much (except when I'm working on matrix math). The punctuation being shifted messes with your mind though. I had the original of this keyboard. It was manufactured by Microsoft. But then they stopped. The design was good, quiet keys, quiet design, minimal branding, no goofy differentiation of multimedia keys. It's low profile, heavy (probably a steel plate inside) and the rubber feet don't slip. The one big minus is that it comes paired with a 3 button mouse. I've gotten quite used to a 5 button mouse so I use a mismatched Bluetooth mouse. https://www.amazon.com/Incase-Wirele...dp/B0DWY181MG/

And it isn't just me, when you're with a group of people and you say DHL there will be collected sigh of frustration. I expect we'll get a new driver soon, they never last long/get rotated often. Since we moved here 14 months ago we've had the same PostNL driver, for DHL we've had at least half a dozen so far.

I got a package delivered yesterday. The driver buzzed me to let them in, and then just left it at the bottom of the stairs. WTF?

When I lived with my sister in her apartment it was always hit or miss whether they would come upstairs or not (no elevator). Most of the time they would drop it off downstairs, occasionally they insisted you would come down to pick it up and when you weren't at home they might drop it off at a neighbour but not tell you which one. There were always notes on the message board downstairs asking about packages.

Here in Canada, we have a rule that you can't name both a drug and its purpose in an ad. So we end up with ridiculous commercials of people just repeating the name of the drug over and over. Don't know why they don't just outright ban.

In AU prescribed pharma cannot be advertised period. That includes pharmacist prescriptions (e.g antibiotics for women who have an UTI). Wish they'd do the same for gambling. Got some proceeds of crime that needs a clean? Pop round to your nearest pub and use one of their washing machines (aka as poker machines). |

They never says “Morning Hour Has Gold in its Mouth” (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lark_(person).. Didn't found what chemicals the body produces (like endorphins or others), personally I feel like having to find 50$ on the floor when getting up early, best drug ever - imho (Circadian rhythm). |

Didn't know they were allowed. Shows how little commercial TV I watch… scratch that. Shows how little TV I watch… period. A bit of sport with the sound off is about all… rather watch the grass grow. Do the serried ranks of defamation silks advertise too. As well as running more pub-laundromats than the rest of the planet combined, Sydney is defo-case capital of the world, with Melbourne a close second — Aussie, Aussie, Aussie… Oi, Oi, Oi. |

I'm normally a lark and my brain goes on like a light switch in the morning. But if I had a bad night waking up and I sleep longer afterwards I wake up as if my brain had been in a blender. My rant: People who ask for my help which requires actual effort, then respond slowly and with lassitude as thanks.
