Not everyone is mentioned by name, but I believe everyone is at the party. It IS rather crowded in there...

And it took some effort and exertion, but I think I've caught up with the thing...

The squid has temporarily given up menacing snakes and is relaxing in the pool with Harv, Vera and the goose; the risotto temporarily forgotten. A large camper, about the size of a whale and seating about eleventy turns up, with DixieGal hooting the horn, then parking and spilling out the American members of the llounge who wanted to have a road trip party en route to the party.

Back inside, Zelda is demonstrating how to juggle with pinwheels whilst drinking Zany Carter Patricias (it hasn't got far enough into the party yet that anyone is trying to drink Patricia's Zany Carter). In one corner Geoff is leading a heated discussion about what the bare minimum percentage of cocoa is needed to make a decent plain chocolate. so far, the lowest has been 85%, and Am has called for tasting batons to decide the matter once and for all. After they've tasted several.

Meanwhile, an argument has broken out with the laddy who is insisting he should be on the door, despite the top of the door being uncomfortably narrow.

All in all, then, a normal party.

Perhaps because of the crowd now at the party, perhaps because everyone is currently doing something, or perhaps because the laddy has just fallen off the door only to be caught by Adrian by one leg, but no-one notices two socks creep away from the main party in search of the underwear drawer.

And perhaps because Adrian is now enthusiastically demonstrating that the laddy can be used as a pinwheel, no-one notices a small *poit* and a small, grey creature appear. It's probably also the reason that no-one notices it *poit* out again, clutching two struggling socks. It is only later, much later, when the party is ending, that anyone notices the PNS sign on the floor...
