We have released a version of the plugin that works with KOReader 2025.04 which means that it should work on the newly-jailbroken Kindles.

Great addon. Two questions.
1. In the example screenshots, are the book titles on covers just part of the covers themselves and not ProjectTitle? Just want to make sure...if it's part of PT, how do you turn them on? 2. Is there a way to make the font in cover gridview showing a series/folder name smaller? Feel like it could be significantly smaller than it is in my setup, but not seeing where an option might be. |

1. Those are the covers themselves: https://standardebooks.org/ If I had any idea how many people would ask this, I would have used different books. I even added a disclaimer to the github directly under the main image.
![]() 2. In the last few days I added some code to adjust that size smaller if the text is too long, but it only goes so far. Once the font gets real small, it looks bad, and I prioritize things looking nice over maximum utility. Someone could write a user patch to make the font as small as they wanted, though. I have a template and KOReader has documentation for user patches, but it would require a level of knowledge of Lua and the KOReader code base. Last edited by joshuacant; 08-07-2025 at 10:48 AM. |

I'm thinking I did something wrong or have a setting wrong somewhere (I am also very new to KOReader). I can't figure out how to get the pretty icons to show up at the top of the screen in my Home view. Nothing looks like it changed, except the top right icon is different..... and for the life of me, I do not see any new settings for the plugin.
KOReader 2025.8 I downloaded ProjectTitle-2025-08-v3-4.zip I disabled the cover view plugin, followed the installation instructions (I copied, did not "move"); .adds/koreader/plugins/projecttitle.koplugin .adds/koreader/icons (6 icons in here, not in a subfolder) .adds/koreader/fonts/source (all fonts are in the source folder) Safely ejected my Kobo, restarted KOReader, went to enable the plugin, but the box was already ticked for it. ![]() ![]() Last edited by Artemis*; 08-19-2025 at 02:00 PM. I followed the same procedure on the installation wiki, but the Project: Title plugin doesn't show up as an option under "Plugin management". Not sure what to do. I have a jailbroken KOA3 running KOReader v2025.08.
UPDATE: Nevermind, I figured it out. I hadn't made an "icons" folder under koreader. Last edited by PiperKev; 08-20-2025 at 02:24 PM. |

Cover display bug?
I'm fairly new to KOReader, and just discovered this awesome plugin today. Installed tonight, and appears to be working as expected except for the cover display. Or maybe it's my lack of understanding of expected behavior.
When I'm in any of the views that show cover art, authors for which I have multiple books show as a 4-tile panel of covers, as I expect. But for authors for which I only have one book in my library also show a 4-tile panel, one tile with the cover, and 3 blank tiles. From the screenshots I saw in the OP here, it looks like authors (or any folder I guess) which have only one book should show a larger single tile in the cover display panel. I'm running a Kobo Clara 2E with KOReader 2025.8, and downloaded the correct build of Project: Title. Install went smoothly, as described. After install I ran the extract and cache book info option as recommended. Attached screenshots of what I'm seeing. submitted this on GitHub as well. Really liking the changes this plugin makes, the file system forward home folder was pretty much the only 'downside' to me - great to see a better option! |
