Will the GL 3 try to update now?

I've still got old firmware on my remaining GlowLight 3. Some of the books that were showing weren't downloaded, so I turned on WiFi long enough to download the books but (for some reason) the covers aren't showing on most of them (even though the books show covers when connected to the computer).

I'm guessing if I turned the WiFi on again I could connect long enough to get my book covers, but I'm afraid B&N would try to foist the update on me. I do NOT want the update, especially now that they've gotten rid of the Georgia font (the only good font available and (I think) they also got rid of the "thicker" setting, which makes the GL3 usable to me. (Barnes & Noble sure knows how to make friends and build customer loyalty, don't they?)

At any rate, if the update did download, where in the directory would it go? I definitely don't want it showing up unexpectedly.
